Batman: Gotham Knight

Batman- Gotham Knight

In this new release, Batman: Gotham Knight, we see the Dark Knight in a new way, Anime! Six Japanese animators were commissioned to create 6 short films about Batman. The stories are supposed to be between the 1st and 2nd movie timeline.
I’m really excited about this, this will give us a darker, more violent Batman. It has an Animatrix feel to it, I love it!

    this looks awesome!

  2. Nihility says:

I agree with T. This Batman looks kick ass. I’ll go so far as to call it metal. Now only if they would make a green lantern series like this. I got a soft spot for the Green Lantern fyi.

    P.S. –
Venture Bros. Season 3. I’m seriously excited about this

  3. T. says:

  5. Nihility says:

This was pretty good. Reminded me of AniaMatrix (spelling?). With the different plots and how they all connected.

  6. 1ndigo says:

This must be the 3rd time i watch the whole thing.
The more i see it the more i like it.

    very well done.
    Any fave episodes/chapters??

  7. Nihility says:

The one where he has the magnetic belt. Very crisp animation in that ep.

  8. 1ndigo says:

    Thats “FIELD TEST
    That is a Good ep.

At the beginning I didn’t get the connection between each chapter, but theres subtle connections between them.
In Field Test he gets the PALM/Devise he gives to Gordon in “Dead Shot.” Also in Dead Shot, Alfred brings out the guns Batman got in the sewer in “Work thru Pain.”

Ha… can you tell Im really into it now? lol

  9. Nihility says:

I didn’t see that connection at all. I’ll have to watch it again with your insight in mind.

  10. Don Cheo says:

    Thats interesting…
The connection I saw was on the Killer Crock episode, when he gets bit he says “I work thru pain”. Then on the next chapter they tell you the story on how he learned to “Work through Pain”

anyone else see any other relation/connections between chapters?
